1) my mother with Multiple System Atrophy......that my dad will be able to get some financial assistance for them in some way......that he will also be able
to get some in home help from skilled nurses and others. His church is helping with repairs, gave them a little bit of financial help, and the ladies at the
church are helping with some cleaning at their house. However, my mother is suffering really bad with this disease. Dad is taking care of her, but he needs
help and can't do it all himself. He also is just not knowledgable of some things. I am trying to help them but there is only so much help I can
feasibly give. It's too much for me too!
2) Myself- which I don't often ask for prayer for - I have been feeling really lousy the last couple of months and am in alot of pain.
3) My 6 yr old daughter, Hollie, who was diagnosed with Autism (Mild Autism/High Fuctioning). Pray that we will be able to find good resourses for her. Also pray that the Meyer Center who diagnosed her will finally get me the reports from her visits with her diagnosis on it. I have called them every month since March 28th and they still haven't gotten me her reports on the visits, or some of the tests. ( She has 1 more test on Monday morning for audiology). The meyer center recommended a medication for her; however I don't feel that she is severe enough at this time to need it, but will reconsider in the future if she seems she does need it. Besides homeschooling, Hollie is getting speech therapy 2 times a week for 1 hour each (from an agency in our home), occupational therapy 2 times a week for 1 hour each(also from the same agency), she's about to start vision therapy 1 time a week at an eye place, and she does non-competitive gymastics 2 times a week (she was already doing it 1 time a week but in the fall the therapist felt 2 times would be more beneficial). The therapy requires outside tasks besides the therapy also. They would like me to let her play outside everyday and they want additional handwritting practic, the speech requires certain papers to be done and certain skills to be practiced, and the vision therapy will require 30 minutes of exercises everyday in addition. We go to a Autism playgroup once a month for a few hours on the second Saturday of the month that is totally awesome. During the school year the kids do activities at times with the Christian Homeschool Association we are in and usually are in a play group there. Hollie also is in church activities and also Awana's during the school year. All of this is alot for a 6 yr old, so we would appreciate you prayer for her! I would appreciate prayer for strength and wisdom for us!
