We've touched on how some activities are more appreciated than others within the church. Have you experienced this? Do you ever find yourself falling into this way of thinking? How can we go about changing this attitude within our own churches, or even our families? Our scripture, I Corinthians 12:4-6, states:
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
So there are indeed diversities of activities in God's plan and He works all in all. What does this mean to you? It is both encouraging and convicting to me.
Ooops... I forgot to mention here that the other thread is still open if anyone wants to continue the discussion of the specific gifts! Just wanted to separate the two so neither would become too cumbersome to read.
