I have severe osteoporosis, off & on pain from osteoarthritis in my neck & bulging disc, hypo-thyroid, get injured without doing anything. MVP Side- effect Queen.Gluten Intolerant. Well, I've been feeling LOUSY. Stupid flare up caught me in Sept. and is just now letting up with my dose of imuran through the roof. Got the girls their
flu shots, I can't have one because of my meds. Quit shaking hands 5 years ago and that has cut down on my viral illnesses considerably. School going
okay. Plan to get cortisone injections in knees tomorrow.........yuck. Planning a trip to the aquarium for Thurs. so those shots better work!!

So sorry Joyce!
I will keep you in my prayers... I have been on the rather "puny" side myself lately...but I am on antibiotics and some other meds...and have a follow-up next week to the doctors...so maybe all will be OK... On a positive note, since "Gem Valley NC" is closed for the season now...my hubby and I are taking a vacation starting today until the end of the week...at the beach. Looking forward to that, and asking prayers for our family, safety in travels...  !

I found out I probably have something called bone marrow edema. Essentially my bones that make up my knee joint have small fissures allowing the fluid in the
joint to leak into my bone marrow. It certainly explains the pain! Had two cortisone injections in my knees yesterday and this morning they feel better. It
will take 6-12 months for this to subside.
